Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 1 cup all purpose flour


  • 35g cold cubed unsalted butter


  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder


  • 50g grated cheddar cheese


  • 1/4 cup 2 tbsp cold buttermilk


  • 11/4 teaspoon baking powder


  • 1/2 tbsp sugar


  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted


  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  • 1 garlic cloves minced


  • 1 teaspoon parsley

Directions

  • In a bowl mix flour sugar salt, baking powder and garlic powder
  • Add cold butter and using fork, mix until butter cubes are less than pea size
  • Add grated cheese and mix
  • Add cold buttermilk and using spoon mix until it comes together. Do not over mix
  • Drop spoonful of dough on prepared baking tray leaving gap between biscuits
  • Bake for 16-19 minutes until golden brown in preheated oven at 180
  • Mix melted butter, garlic and parsley un a bowl
  • While the biscuits are still hot, brush the butter mix on biscuits
  • Always serve warm
